High Backwash Softener Technology

The Backwash cycle during regeneration is critical for high Iron water. If a softener isn’t completely flushed out, Iron will stay behind. The system gets damaged. The water gets rusty. Not good!

There must be room inside the Water Softener for resin to expand. Water needs to “scour” the inside of the system clean.

The Pro Series HB systems use 33% larger tanks with special “plate distributors”. These plates have 56% more surface area than a standard softener “cone distributor”. The combination allows us to flush 3-4x more vigorously than a conventional softeners.

You get optimal Iron removal not possible with a “standard softener”.

Commercial Quality + Reliability

The Pro Series HB uses a simple, rugged design with only 41 parts. We’ve eliminated the parts that plug up with Iron, or jam in normal softeners. No screens, springs, micro switches – not even 1 screw!

Private wells usually have lower water pressure than city water. Most softeners make it even worse. This valve is 66% less restrictive than standard water softeners. It has a full 1.25” flow. You get maximum performance that won’t restrict your home’s plumbing system.

Consistent Iron Removal, Longer Life

Water Softener Resin is the heart of a system. Standard Resin breaks down 2-10% every year. Iron can easily plug up resin. Capacity goes down, and rust stains begin.

The Pro Series HB uses a different resin structure that is 25% stronger than average. The enhanced resin structure has more “links in the chain”. We combine stronger resin with a special resin cleaner for 33% longer service life.
